The Nancy DeMuth Ruhle Scholarship recognizes outstanding dietetics students for their academic achievements and emerging leadership. If you know a deserving student who exemplifies these qualities, please encourage him/her to submit an application. Applications are available online in the fall and are due Feb 15.
Congratulations to the 2010 scholarship recipient, Janel Kelly.
Janel grew up in Prospect Connecticut and attended Woodland Regional High School. Upon graduation from High School in the summer of 2006, Janel moved to Rochester, New York to attend Rochester Institute of Technology. While attending RIT, Janel found her passion in nutrition and science to continue to grow. Janel will graduate from RIT in May
2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition Management. Janel will begin her dietetic internship at Syracuse University in late August. Janel is very excited to start the dietetic internship since she will have the chance to further explore her interests in nutrition and begin her career in dietetics.
